CM enquire about Arushi's health
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state government will make complete arrangements for the treatment of girl child Arushi, who had sustained burn injuries in an incubator. Shri Chouhan said that Principal Secretary Health Education has been entrusted with the task of arranging her medical treatment. He will be assisted by Commissioner Health. This afternoon, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh Chouhan reached a private hospital in Jawahar Chowk area and enquired about the health of Arushi.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Ku. Arushi will soon be sent to Bombay Hospital, Indore for treatment. Plastic surgery will be done on her at the Bombay Hospital by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Chhajlani. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that apart from making all the arrangements for Ku. Arushi's medical treatment, the state government will also bear the expenses on the travel, lodging and all other necessary requirements of her parents.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the incident of burning of the newly born girl child in intensive care unit of Hamidia Hospital is being investigated. After completion of the investigation getting done by dean of the hospital, appropriate action will be taken against the guilty. He said that higher officers of the Health Department have been instructed to inspect the ward and get works of repairs and maintenance done there so that such an incident does not recur.
