Truth behind the Afghan war

ISI paid the Taliban to kill Indians
Over 90,000 secret US military documents made public on Sunday, on the non-profit website Wikileaks, revealing the truth behind the Afghan war, is the big story in the papers this morning.
One of the biggest leaks in US military history reveals Pakistan's double game taking more than a billion dollars in aid annually from Washington, ostensibly for the fight against terror, but secretly guiding the  Afghan insurgency.
'2 faced Pak takes America's money, plots to kill troops' quotes the Times of India from one of the reports, while the Hindustan Times quotes another report stating that the ISI paid the Taliban to kill Indians in Afghanistan. The Statesman highlights Polish intelligence, warning the US, a week ahead of the 2008 attack on the Indian Embassy, while the Asian Age questions whether this alert on the Kabul attack was passed on to India. The Hindu focuses on another aspect of the intelligence leak--how coalition forces have killed hundreds of civilians in unreported incidents.
Fast paced legal developments in the Amit Shah case is the other headline story in the papers.
Other stories prominently covered are--a top Maoist killed along with 5 others in a forest encounter in West  Bengal, a Congress MP disqualified by the Kerala High Court for falsely claiming SC status.
