CS solves people’ s problems through Samadhan Online

Bhopal:Tuesday, September 1, 2009:Updated 20:18IST The Chief Secretary, Shri Rakesh Sahni solved the problems of general public through video conferencing under Samadhan Online programme today. The Chief Secretary is presently in Delhi on an official tour and he held discussions with the divisional commissioners, district collectors and other departmental officers form the National Informatics Centre headquarters in Delhi.
The Chief Secretary heard the complaints of different applicants and directed the officers concerned to solve them. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Shri Iqbal Singh Bais was also present with the Chief Secretary in the studio. Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Anurag Jain coordinated the programme from State Mantralaya at Bhopal.
The Chief Secretary apprised himself of the situation of rainfall, availability of drinking water and groundwater level in all the divisions. He directed the officers to take all precautions to maintain law and order during the Anant Chaturdashi festival.
The Chief Secretary directed the Collector Rewa to provide the benefit of Ladli Laxmi Yojana to a girl child Shalini, the daughter of Smt. Neeta Mishra of village Kakhara in Tyonthar tahsil of Rewa district. Immediately after giving birth to this girl child Smt. Neeta Mishra became widow.
The girl child could not be given the benefit of Ladli Laxmi Yojana because she was found ineligible as per the rules prevailing at that time. The Chief Secretary directed that it is not necessary to undergo family planning operation after the birth of the first girl child so she should be given the benefit under the scheme.
Similarly, the Chief Secretary directed the concerning officers to give the records and possession of land to Shri Koturam, a farmer of village Devra Khurd in Katni district. Shri Koturam informed the Chief Secretary that his ancestor land has been acquired by the government and no compensation or land lease as been provided to him in lieu of the land.
The Chief Secretary directed the Development Commissioner to send a team for enquiry into a complaint of nonpayment of works carried out National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. The complaint was made by Samarpan Samaj Kalyan Samiti, Jabalpur. Shri Sahni directed to complete the enquiry within 15 days.
He also received complaints of nonpayment of wages under the same scheme in village Laxamanpura of Rajgarh district. The complaint was made by Smt. Geeta Bai, Shri Poonamchand and other villagers. The Chief Secretary directed the Development Commissioner Shri Parashuram for enquiry into the matter. He also directed for an enquiry into issuance of fake rationcards.
Shri Sahni directed the Collector Bhopal to ascertain the annual income of the father of an OBC student Mitesh Kumar Suryawanshin who was denied scholarship . He is a fourth semester student in Bhabha Engineering and Research Institute, Bhopal. The Chief Secretary also directed the concerning officers for payment of Rs. six lakh for construction of a pond under soil conservation scheme at village Haripura in Rajgarh district.
The Chief Secretary heard many other complaints and directed concerning officers to take necessary action to solve them.
