Corruption Free System,Yoga and spirituality will develop India

11 lakh Yoga classes to be conducted country-wide: Swami Ramdev
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a corruption-free administrative system along with Yoga and spirituality will develop India as the most progressive country of the world. Modern-day Swami Vivekanandas like Swami Ramdev are giving a new identity to the country.
A new wave will be created through the efforts of Swamiji and such negative thoughts as breaking up the country will die down themselves. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing a function organised at Hindi Bhawan here today by Bharat Swahiman Evam Patanjali Yog Samiti.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan stressed the need for improvement of banking and currency systems with a view to putting an end to corruption. The prevalence of notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 denomination is beyond justification. These days any person can issue cheques and drafts and can also make payments anywhere and anytime through ATMs. The ban on notes of large denomination will help control illegal transactions of money.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan hoped that every official will discharge his duties well and added that everyone will have to discharge the responsibility to keep those in power away from corruption. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also laid emphasis on simultaneous elections of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha, direct election of Prime Minister and Chief Minister and state funding of elections. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan called for a nation-wide debate on these issues following which a decision should be taken soon.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan lauded the efforts of Swami Ramdev Ji and gave assurance to extend full cooperation to him in his creative works.

In his address, Swami Ramdev said that he has derived pleasure from his Madhya Pradesh visit. He expressed happiness over the fact that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is himself playing the role of Yoga instructor during this visits of rural areas. He said that soon a branch of Patanjali Yoga Peeth will be established in the state. Swami Ramdev said that the Patanjali Samiti will conduct 11 lakh yoga classes in Madhya Pradesh through Yoga instructors. Besides, the committee is undertaking activities directed at checking corruption and black money. The policies implemented during the British rule must be changed. At the function, Swami Ramdev also welcomed Chief Minister Shri Chouhan.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan termed Swami Ramdev's visit to Bhopal as auspicious. Those present on the occasion included industrialist and chief editor of Dainik Bhaskar Shri Ramesh Chandra Agrawal, Gufa Mandir Mahant Chandramadas Tyagi, several yoga exponents and office-bearers of Patanjali Samiti.
