Public Relations Departments website will be Multilingual

 Public Relations Minister reviews activities
Public Relations Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma has instructed to start Public Relations Department's website in other Indian languages including Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannad. At present, this website is in Hindi, English and Urdu. The Public Relations Minister was reviewing departmental activities here. Those present at the meeting included Secretary Public Relations Shri Manoj Shrivastava and other senior departmental officers. The Public Relations Department's website receives about one lakh hits everyday, out of which 25 percent are international hits.

The Public Relations Minister also instructed to organise press tours of journalists for witnessing development schemes of Madhya Pradesh and tourist destinations. Shri Sharma also instructed to organise inter-division press tours too. 
The Public Relations Minister reviewed the setup of Public Relations Department and insurance scheme for journalists. He instructed to put up proposals in this regard before the cabinet. He instructed for making necessary arrangements for free travel of journalists in private buses after consulting Transport Department.

Shri Sharma instructed for large-scale publication of the government's welfare and development schemes and success stories of those who have benefited from these schemes. The meeting was informed that a new look and variety have been introduced in the advertisements released by the department. In future, advertisements will be published in regional dialects as well.
The department has set up a photo bank and organised workshops for photographers' training. The department has also established a well-equipped centre for monitoring news channels.
