Peoples cooperation must for States development : CM

Announces Rs 6 crore for opening Nursing College in Seoni
Bhopal:Wednesday, October 21, 2009:Updated 19:23IST A resolution will be adopted on establishment day of Madhya Pradesh on November 1 for making the state prosperous and developed. In this goal, all the sections of society will have to cooperate.
The state will be made so much developed and prosperous that every citizen of Madhya Pradesh will feel proud of being its denizen. These views were expressed by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at a public welfare camp here.
Those present on the occasion included incharge minister of the district Shri Devi Singh Sayyam, Public Health Engineering and Cooperative Minister Shri Gaurishankar Bisen, MP Shri K.D. Deshmukh, Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Thakur Harvansh Singh, District Panchayat president Smt. Preeta Thakur, MLA Smt. Neeta Pateria, Smt Shashi Thakur, Kamal Marskole, Sudarshan Bajhal and other people's representatives and officers.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Seoni will be developed in such a way that it will be regarded as the most beautiful city of the state. It will also be made a tourist destination. No stone will be left unturned in the development of Seoni city.
Mentioning about the national highway, the Chief Minister said that the course of the highway passing through Seoni will never be diverted and the state government is ready for legal battle in this connection. The highway built in the times of Sher Shah Suri serves as the lifeline of Seoni.
The Chief Minister said that the state government will not let agriculture become a loss-bearing occupation. The state government has arranged loans for farmers at the interest rate of just 3 percent with a view to cutting down on agricultural costs.
He said that the Union government has been urged to fix the support price of wheat at least Rs 1400 per quintal for the coming Rabi season. The state government will give Rs 100 per quintal bonus on procurement of wheat on the support price fixed by the Union government.
Committee formed to go into land scams
Shri Chouhan said that the state government has started Jan-Sunwai programme with a view to solving common man's problems. He said that adulterators will not be spared. Mentioning land scam, he said that an enquiry committee has been constituted under Commissioner Public Relations Shri Manoj Shrivastava which will probe all the land scams in the state during the last 30 years. Those found guilty in the investigation by the committee will not be spared and will be subjected to stern punishment.
Rs 1.50 crore for Seoni Haat-Bazaar
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced to establish a Haat-Bazaar at Seoni at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore with a view to providing market for products of self-help groups. These funds will be given from Swarn Jayanti Gram Sworazgar Yojana.
Chief Minister rides a rickshaw
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave away rickshaws and handcarts to 78 beneficiaries under Swarn Jayanti Gram Sworazgar Yojana. On this occasion, the Chief Minister himself drove a rickshaw for a distance while carrying its beneficiary.
NSA to be imposed for transporting cows for slaughter
On the occasion of inaugurating digging of tube-well at Digambar Jain Gaushala at Beenjhawadi, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that action will be taken under National Security Act against those who are caught transporting cows to slaughterhouses or smuggling the hapless animals.
