CM pays tributes to policemen martyred in Naxalite attack

Bhopal:Monday, July 13, 2009:Updated 17:48IST The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has paid tributes to the superintendent of police and other police personnel who laid down their lives in Naxalite attack in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday. Shri Chouhan said that the sacrifice of these police personnel while discharging their duties will create public awareness against violent activities of Naxalites.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Naxalite problem is not confined to any particular state or region but is a national problem. He said that an integrated plan is needed to solve this problem. While offering condolences to the bereaved families of martyred police personnel, the Chief Minister has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed souls.
