Over 80000 children medically examined in Datia

As many as 81 thousand 630 children of 6 to 14 years of age studying in 1203 schools in Datia district have been medically examined during the running year under health examination programme.During the medical examination, 1810 children were found to be suffering from ear, nose and throat ailments. Symptoms of stomach worms were found in 2511 children while 870 children were lacking Vitamin-A. These children were provided treatment and informed about the importance of hygiene and cleanliness.
