Every possible help for making women self-reliant

Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has said that the state government is committed to the welfare of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. Every possible help will be extended for making these sections' women self-reliant. Kunwar Vijay Shah was distributing sewing machines among 57 scheduled caste women at Harsud in Khandwa district.

These women have been imparted three-month training in sewing by Khandwa unit of Madhya Pradesh Handicraft and Handloom Corporation. Later, they were also trained in sewing clothes of latest designs by Indore-based Training and Design Centre. The sewing machines have been provided on 50 per subsidy.

Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Shah said that large scale employment opportunities can be provided to rural women by forming maximum number of self-help groups.
