Progrmmes to be chalked out for seeking people’s cooperation
With an objective to seeking people’s participation on a massive scale in all-round development of the state, the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan is embarking on a “Madhya Pradesh Banao Yatra” from Amarkantak (Anuppur district) on January 26.During the course of his Yatra, the Chief Minister will call upon the people to extend their active participation in the fulfillment and universalisation of the seven priorities set for the all-round development of the state. These priorities include making agriculture a profitable occupation, infrastructure development, increase inflow of investment, women empowerment, law & order and security, good governance and resources development, and health and education. The schedule of this ambitious “Madhya Pradesh Banao Yatra” to be undertaken by the Chief Minister in each district of the state is being finalized.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan during his “Madhya Pradesh Banao Yatra” will address a number of public meetings in four development blocks and towns of Anuppur district. Shri Chouhan is also scheduled to meet local prominent citizens, entrepreneurs and social workers.
During the Yatra, the Chief Minister will interact with the officers of the administration and citizens regarding the programmes to be implemented with the cooperation of the people in the identified areas such water conservation, energy conservation, greenery, sanitation, de-addiction, education and health for all. These programmes will be finalized in consultation with the minister incharge keeping in view the specific requirements of the district.
It may be mentioned that there would be no formality of welcome of the Chief Minister during his engagements under the “Madhya Pradesh Banao Yatra”. The General Administration Department has issued detailed instructions regarding the necessary arrangements during the Yatra.
