Two-day state mourning declared in Madhya Pradesh

No official function on September 3 & 4

Bhopal:Thursday, September 3, 2009:Updated The State Government have declared a two-day state mourning in Madhya Pradesh as a mark of respect to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Y.S. Rajsekhar Reddy, who passed away in a helicopter crash.
During the period of state mourning from September 3 to September 4, the national flag will be flown at half mast throughout the state where it is flown regularly. Also, there will be no official function and entertainment during the period of state mourning. All the Divisional Commissioners and Collectors have been intimated in this connection through a wireless message from the Chief Secretary.
