PSLV puts Oceansat-2 and 6 Nano satellites into Orbit

The workhorse Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle of ISRO successfully completing another mission, is prominent in today's press. "PSLV puts Oceansat-2 and 6 Nano satellites into Orbit", writes the Hindu, while the Asian Age headline says, "7 in one go".
The Congress announcing President Pratibha Patil's son Rajendra Shekhawat as its Amrawati candidate in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, is also noticed prominently by today's press. "Congress does President's son a favour", headlines the Indian Express. "Sitting MLA angry", reports the Statesman.
Law Minister Veerappa Moily's new pledge: "Trail to verdict in one year", is highlighted by the Times of India. By setting up 5,000 new courts across the country- working in three shift a day- and by requisitioning the services of retired judges, he plans to remove the pendency of almost 40 Lakh cases in 3 year's time.
Yugratna Srivastava, the ninth grader from Lucknow, who was invited by Mr Ban Ki Moon to speak at the UN Summit on climate change, is quoted in the Tribune. Before an audience consisting of US President Barack Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao, she said "the Himalayas are melting, Polar bears are dying, two of every five people don't have access to clean drinking water and the Pacific's water level has risen. Is this what we are going to hand over to our future generations? Please............no."
And finally, The Hindustan Times reports of former world Chess Champions, Russian Grand Masters Garry Kasparov and Anatoly Karpov, playing an exhibition match after 25 years. The rivalry between the two was still there - as 10 million Internet Chess fans looked on while the two played in Valencia in Spain.
