The Governor, Shri Rameshwar Thakur has extended greetings on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami to the people of the state. In his message the Governor said that the ideals and examples set by Lord Shri Krishna for the welfare of society and mankind are still relevant.
The objective of Lord Vishnu’s incarnation as Lord Shri Krishna was to free the earth from the wickedness of demons and re-establish an environment of peace, harmony, brotherhood by propagating theory of good karmas. The Governor, Shri Thakur has appealed the citizens to celebrate the festival with traditional zeal.
