Govt. Advise: Private schools should also declare vacations

 Private schools will be responsible if any unpleasant situation crops up

The state government has advised managements of private schools to take a decision on declaring vacations. They have been advised to declare vacations from April 19 like government schools with a view to giving relief to children from scorching heat.

An order issued in this connection has said that the school management will be held responsible if any untoward incident occurs in case they continued with classes.

It may be mentioned that in view of scorching heat in the state, vacations have been declared in all the government schools with effect from April 19 on the initiative of School Education Minister Smt. Archana Chitnis. Earlier, the classes were scheduled to be held till April 30.
