Committees constituted for Wildlife Protection Awards

 Forest Minister will chair the selection committee

The state government has constituted selection committees for Basavan Mama Memorial Forest and Wildlife Protection Awards.The Forest Minister will chair the selection committee for state level Basavan Mama Memorial Forest and Wildlife Protection Award while its members will include Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary

Forests, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Managing Director of Rajya Laghu Vanopaj Sangh, managing director of State Forest Development Corporation and Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (research, extension and public forestry). Member-secretaries of the committee will be Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests/Chief Conservator of Forests (joint forest management, Forest Development Agency). The non-government members will include Shri SP Dwivedi, B-267, Shahpura, Bhopal, Dr. Surendra Tiwari, D-27, Swami Dayanand Nagar, 74 Bungalows, Bhopal, Sushri Manjula Shrivastava, Hanumanganj War No. 22, Garg Chouraha, Katni, Dr. SK Singh, 217, Silver Estate, University Road, Gwalior and Shri Kutti Menon, Indore.

The Forest will also chair the selection committee for Basavan Mama Memorial Forest and Wildlife Protection Award for Vindhya Region while its members will include Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary Forests, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Managing Director of Rajya Laghu Vanopaj Sangh, managing director of State Forest Development Corporation and Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (research, extension and public forestry).
